Alisoun Milne Alisoun Milne

Dr Alisoun Milne is professor of social gerontology and work at the University of Kent, and is a qualified social worker. Her key interests are: mental health in later life; caring in later life; social work with older people; and long term care.

She has received funding from a range of sources including government departments and research councils. She is widely published in peer reviewed journals and books. Alisoun is a member of the Standing Commission on Carers, British Society of Gerontology Executive Committee and an academic special interest group on gerontological social work.
