Linda Tapper

Linda Tapper is an independent family group conference (FGC) trainer and consultant specialising in adult safeguarding.

She previously worked for Daybreak FGC pioneering the use of FGCs for elder abuse, and expanding their use for adults of any age who may be at risk of harm.

Linda developed the first accredited training specifically for co-ordinators providing adult FGCs and has delivered training across the UK and in Europe.

Linda has 10 years’ experience as a family group conference co-ordinator, working especially with families experiencing domestic abuse, and is also an experienced advocate.

Before this she worked in the statutory and voluntary sectors, including spending seven years developing a range of services for adults and children with learning disabilities, and three years supporting adolescents and families with the aim of preventing family breakdown.
