Section 117A – After-care: Preference for particular accomodation

Introduction

This section allows the Secretary of State to make regulations, for England, requiring a local authority to secure that, where section 117 after-care includes accommodation, it takes the form of a person’s preferred accommodation. Regulations have been made. They are the Care and Support and After-care (Choice of Accommodation) Regulations 2014.
