Section 73 – Arrangements with ministers

Introduction

This section permits the CQC and a government minister to make arrangements for the CQC to perform functions in relation to a health or social scheme for which the Minister has responsibility (eg armed forces health care). However, this can only happen where regulations authorise the arrangements and no such regulations have been made.
