Accessibility statement for Community Care Inform
We want everyone who visits the Community Care Inform website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Community Care Inform website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Community Care Inform website.
How are we doing?
We’re working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realise there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we’re doing to make that happen.
Success criteria 1.2.2:
Although we have published transcriptions for our Learn on the Go podcasts, transcriptions are not yet available for all or our videos and webinars. We have begun a programme of transcription that we will complete shortly.
Success criteria 1.4.1:
A small number of articles contain highlighting to convey emphasis that is not communicated in any other way. We are working to identify and update this content.
Success criteria 2.4.2:
Some older content does not meet this criterion, but is being gradually updated.
Success criteria 3.1.2:
There are very few instances of non-English languages being included on the site, but these are in the process of being identified and amended as appropriate.
Success criteria 3.2.3:
Some pages have been found to have inconsistencies in navigation, which are in the process of being corrected.
