Meet Alex and Jason, authors of Community Care Inform’s guide to gender and sexuality: ensuring social work meets LGBTQ+ people’s needs. They discuss why they think the guide is important, their approach to writing and putting it together to support social workers feel more confident about navigating about what can be perceived as a tricky area, and what they hope practitioners will take away in order to help support people more equally.
