Dawn Revell

Dawn is a qualified social worker and continues to practice both as an approved mental health professional (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 1983 and a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards' best interests assessor under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

She is a joint trained investigator for safeguarding adults and managed a generic social services emergency duty team for several years.

With Edge training and consultancy, Dawn delivers specific training on deprivation of liberty in relation to children and young people among other courses (www.edgetraining.org.uk).
