Harriet Clarke

Harriet Clarke is a lecturer in social policy and social work at the Institute of Applied Social Studies, University of Birmingham. Previously, she worked with Richard Olsen on a Department of Health study of disabled parents and their families experiences (Olsen, R. and Clarke, H. (2003) Parenting and Disability: Disabled Parents’ Experiences of Raising Children, Bristol: The Policy Press).

She has recently hosted an ESRC funded seminar series on Disabled Parents at the University of Birmingham, and has worked with the Commission for Social Care Inspection on a Special Study looking at policy and practice within local authorities in England.
