Jacqui Bond

Jacqui Bond is a social worker with Deaf people in a south Wales local authority and has been a registered practitioner since 1999 and specialist in social work with deaf people since 2001. She was encouraged to become a social worker with Deaf people when a friend training to be a BSL/English interpreter suggested this as a specialism.

She has worked across three south Wales local authorities in this capacity and is involved in the regional specialist social work group. She supports a project working with Deaf children in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
