Dr Jason Schaub is lecturer in social work at University of Birmingham. He is a qualified social worker; before entering academia, he was a social worker and social work manager in the USA, Ireland and the UK in mental health and children’s services for over ten years.
His work focusses on gender and sexuality, particularly about how social work and social care works with LGBTQ+ service users, predominantly using evidence-based methodologies and mixed methods.
