Katie Clarke

Katie is the founder of Bringing Us Together, an independent community supporting parent carers.

She set up the Calderdale Parent Council as the second parent forum in the country and this spearheaded parent participation around the country.

In 1998, she co-founded the charity 1Voice - Communicating Together which brings families together who have children who use communication aids.

She is a freelance trainer specialising in supporting parent forums to build on their skills and capacity to engage with local services.
