Hannah Bows

Hannah Bows is a senior lecturer in criminology and sociology in the School of Social Sciences, Business and Law at Teesside University.

Her current research projects are around violence against older people, examining both offending and victimisation.

She is chair of Age UK Teesside and co-founder of the British Society of Criminology's victims network.

She was previously a member of the University of Durham’s Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse (CRiVA) dedicated to improving knowledge about interpersonal violence and abuse and to improving professional and societal responses.
