Louise Grant

Louise Grant is interim executive dean for the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the University of Bedfordshire. She is a research active social work academic.

Louise's research focuses on supporting social workers to manage the complex nature of their work by building individual resilience and latterly focuses on strategies for developing organisational strategies to deliver best practice.

She has published widely in social work journals and has co-authored the book Developing Resilience for Social Work Practice (Macmillan) with Gail Kinman.

A workbook published in association with Research in Practice is soon to be launched which brings together a decade of research activity and evidenced-based strategies to build organisational resilience in social work.
