Newcastle ASCIS Page
Welcome to Newcastle City Council’s personalised CC Inform homepage. Here you will find a central hub, helping you find an array of quality resources tailored to your social care team- but this is just the start! CC Inform provides a host of detailed and engaging resources, designed to develop your practice and inspire your learning. Whether it’s legal case studies on the Mental Capacity Act or the Care Act, or podcasts on trending themes in social care, or even supporting your learning through interactive quizzes- CC Inform is a brilliant resource with everything you need to provide the best possible care and support to the people in our communities
Here are some of the quotes from Newcastle Social Workers on how they use CC Inform!
My main uses of Community Care are to read up and gather some information surrounding areas of social work which I am unsure about or that are mentioned in supervision or conversations that I have not come across before. As an AYSE social worker who started their first social work post a few months ago I find it useful as an information source when going out on visits.
I mainly use it for information surrounding the Care Act and Mental Capacity act to better inform my assessments. Overall, I think it’s a solid resources tool for Newly Qualified Social Workers to use to develop skills and knowledge.
