Hello and welcome to the Redcar & Cleveland home page of Community Care Inform for Adults workforce.

Our vision for Adults in Redcar & Cleveland is to have a sustainable adult social care system which prioritises supporting people to maximise their independence, remain safely in their home and be part of their local community for as long as practical.

CCI provides our workforce with the latest research, legal rulings and tools to support good practice and links into the requirements of your continued professional development. Our workforce is our greatest asset and we are confident that our staff strive to deliver a high quality service.

We have made an investment in CCI to ensure that you all have access to a quality online resource to support you to develop and inform your practice. CCI has a vast library of information and tools to assist you in your day to day practice. We want this resource to be meaningful for R&C workers so we have looked at some of the key practice areas that are particularly relevant to R&C and your current practice. Our first three topics below are Autism, Trauma Informed Practice and Equality and Diversity. We’re also conscious that we want to support your own wellbeing and there are some additional resources on CC Inform that we have referenced which we hope will support you

We will identify our future key ‘hot topics’ from discussions with team managers at our performance and practice groups. The topics will be reviewed and chosen to support practice where we have identified an increase in demand locally in a particular service area, where team managers have identified a knowledge gap or where there may be new national or local developments that have been highlighted within our policy alerts record which need to be shared with our workforce. Where we have local Safeguarding Adult Reviews we will link the key learning points for staff and focus on any practice topics relevant to these reviews with links to the practice improvement meetings and associated practice workshops.

Best wishes,

Deborah
